Happpppppy Tuesday!

I am sorry that I did not get this up yesterday.  But, here are the resources for your Benedict Arnold Assignment from yesterday.  I was saddened to hear that 7th hour could not keep it together for Mr. Thiel and Mr. Sherman and finish the movie, so, I found a link that will help you visualize the inner struggle that Arnold fought within himself through the movie. Today we started watching Benedict Arnold: A Question of Honor.  And instead of questions to follow along with, we are going to take a look at what led to his decision to commit treason against the country that he loved, but that he felt very much under valued him. Here is the viewing guide from class and you can watch the movie here.  You will need this viewing guide for an assessment next week.

Valley Forge DBQ Day 2 - US History

Today was the day to have your documents done.  Hopefully, you did the analysis last night for homework.  If not take a peek here.  I went through and added the information to each document that might be of assistance to you.  Feel free to take a look.  Hour 2, Hour 5, Hour 7.  Click on the link for the PDF we did in class.  If you need a new blank DBQ since I am all out, click here.

US History: Valley Forge DBQ

Today we worked with the DBQ method - breaking down our background information and using that to interpret documents in order to take a stance on the question.  The Valley Forge DBQ asks you to place yourself in the boots (or bare feet) of the soldiers in the Continental Army.  Knowing what they went through, if you were one of those soldiers, would you re-enlist and continue to fight the good fight for independence from the tyrannical King George the Nerd!?!?!

Here is the blank DBQ in case you lost yours or you were absent and want to stay up to date.  Here is the work we did together in Hour 2. Here is the work we did in Hour 5. (I know it says Hour 3 - I don't have a 3rd hour class.  You guys are my 3rd class of the day! Oops!)  Here is the work we did in Hour 7. Feel free to take a look at what the other classes came up with!

By tomorrow, please have the Document Questions answered for Documents A-D.  We will not be going through them together. 

The essay itself is due Friday!

APUSH and APHG - Canvas Roll Out
